The Crusaders period church in Abu-gosh is perhaps the best preserved church from the Middle Ages.
It marked in Crusaders times “Emmaus”, where Jesus appeared to two man after his ressurection (Luke 24:13-35).
Today the church is maintained by a Catholic Benedictine order.
