Deb Tour Plan, May 2018

April 28 (SAT)

7:40 – CX0675 – Arrival, WELCOME TO ISRAEL!. Transfer to hotel. Meet the guide.

Noon: Walking tour to the Old ciy of Jerusalem, including the Western wall  , the Jewish Quarter Christian Quarter , the Via Dolorosa , and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre  .

April 29 (SUN)

The First day in Jerusalem is devoted to exploring its oldest remains: City of David  King David’s Palace Warren’s shaft  Canaanite Tunnel Pool of Siloam  Herodian Drainage Channel Southern Wall Archaeological Park , and Davidson Center .

After lunch we continue in to Jewish Quarter and visit the it main sites: Hurvah Synagogue Burnt House , and the Cenacle  on Mount Zion.

April 30 MON)

Our last day in Jerusalem is devoted to the main institutions in the new city: Israel Museum   and the National Holocaust Musuem (“Yad Vashem”  ).

For lunch we will go for a stroll in Mahane Yehudah Market    and continue into the ultra orthodox neighborhood of Mea Shearim .

May 1 (TUE)

Checking out of Jerusalem we head north. The first stop will be the ancient Metropolis of Caesarea  .

Further one we could also stop to view the Bahaian Terraced Gardens  in Haifa , and the last part of the day will be devoted to exploring Mediavel Akko  , especially the Knights Halls

May 2 (WED)

Ascending to the top of the Golan Heights  we visit first Mt. Bental  , and walk in an Israeli bunker. Next we have an ATV tour along the Syrian Border , and possibly experience a chocolate workshop in De Karina Chocolatiere 

After lunch we visit the “Golan Magic” Visitors Center  and / or do Kayaks  along the Jordan river.

May 3 (THUR)

This day is devoted to a mix of sites around the Sea of Galiee: Mount of Beatitudes Capernaum Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes , and Church of the Primacy of Peter 

For lunch we can go to one of the local fish resaurants, and later can visit some of the Rabbi tombs in Ancient Tiberias .

May 4 (FRI)

Heading South, we will visit the Church of Annunciation  in Nazareth   on the way. We then have a long drive to get you to Beresheet hotel, and free Fredi so he gets home to Jerusalem before Shabbath.

May 5 (SAT)

This day can be used to relax a bit and enjoy the pool and the spa facilities of the spa hotel. If you want we can set a Jeep tour in Ramon Crater  or an ATV tour. I can also set for you a Rappeling  experiencein the crater, and it is recommended to visit the Ramon Crater Visitors Center .

In the evening we can also set a Stars Watching Session in Machtesh Ramon .

May 6 (SUN) 

Completing the journey to the south, we reach Eilat, where we check in and go for Scuba Diving experience at the Red Sea  . We can also drive up to the mountains of Eilat for some great panoramic views.

May 7 (MON)

Early in the morning we cross in to Jordan, where the Jordanian guide will be waiting for us. We have a jeep tour in Wadi Rum , including a genuine Bedouin lunch experience. 

In the afternoon we reach Wadi Musa, check in, and possibly do Petra Night Tour  , or a private dinner event in Little Petra .

May 8 (TUE)

Most of today will be devoted to exploring Petra  and its vicinity, including the hike to Ad Deir .

At the end of the day we drive back to Eilat, possibly having a brief visit to Aqaba , and then cross back to Israel, and drive to the hotel at the Dead Sea, where we can also experience the unqiue floating experience at the Dead Sea .

May 9 (WED)

An early start will get us the top of Masada   before the croeds and the heat!. We will review this fantastic and famous site, and then head towards Tel-Aviv, possibly stopping for some wine tasting at Yatir Winery.

May 10 (THUR)

Our first day in Tel-Aviv will be devoted to study its historical main sites: Jaffa  (possibly in a segway tour), the Flea Market  Independence Hall  on Rothschild Boulevard  and Rabin Assassination site 

If time and will permits we can also visit the Palmach Museum .

May 11 (FRI)

The last day of the tour will include souvenir shopping oppurtunities at Nahalat Binyamin Arts and Crafts Fair   and Carmel Market , as well as a cooking workshop experience with “Delicious Israel”.
