EXPERIENCE

My tour guiding experience extends over the past 25 years including domestic and overseas tourism, specializing in Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Greece and Crete.

My professional pursuits as a guide, lecturer, and educator are aimed primarily toward the academic population, as I work most profoundly with the Biblical History and Archeology of the Holy Land. Most of the lectures I deliver, and the majority of the guided tours I conduct, feature Jerusalem and highlight the southern region of Israel. In addition, I conduct seminars for professional tourist guides in ancient Jerusalem, and the deserts of Israel.

1990 – Present – Israel certified and licensed Tour Guide; Guest lecturer throughout Israel, including universities, organizations, and Tour Guides’ Schools. Overseas Guest Lecturer for the Israel Ministry of Tourism

1995 – Present – Manage tourist sites and performed professional marketing of myriad sites throughout Israel, specializing in Jerusalem and the desert regions

2000 – 2013 – Director of the highly-acclaimed National Tour Guides course, under the auspices of the Israel Ministry of Tourism

2000 – Present – Marketing and Promotion Consultant for a large number of tourist attractions throughout Israel

2006 – 2015 – Director of Marketing and Strategy – The Biblical City of David, Jerusalem

2007 – Present – Lecturer at the Ben Gurion University through the prestigious Department of Tourism and Hotel Management

1999 – Guest Lecturer for International Tourist Guides on a Field Seminar along the Nabatean Perfume and Spice Route

2000 – 2013 Director of the National Tourist Guides Course for the Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT), Senior Guide, and Lecturer for students of that course all over Israel

2005 – Guest lecturer at two international conferences organized by the Israel Ministry of Tourism in Washington, D.C. and New York. The lectures were presented to leading travel agents of the United States and other countries, presenting Israel as an outstanding destination, and focusing on new developments in Israel per archaeology, history, and biblical research, such as in The City of David, Jerusalem

2006 – Conducted a series of four lectures along the West Coast (United States) for IMOT, highlighting Israel as a unique destination located on the Eastern Mediterranean, and focusing on new archaeological, historical, and biblical developments and discoveries

2006 – Lectured on behalf of the Municipality of Jerusalem and The City of David National Park, highlighting the sites of Jerusalem at W.T.M. London, and during an I.M.O.T- lead conference in Paris for promoting tourism to Israel

2006 – 2007 – Conducted lectures addressing overseas travel agents attending I.M.T.M., highlighting Israel as a developing destination on the Eastern Mediterranean, and focusing on the new developments in Jerusalem from an archaeological, historical, and biblical perspective

2007 – Present – Teaching courses at the Ben Gurion University through the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management

October 2012 – Leading a series of 20 lectures in the U.S.A and Canada for IMOT, focusing in new archeological discoveries in Israel, and presentations to tour agents from different regions in the United States

March 2013 – Conducted a series of 16 lectures throughout the United States for IMOT, focusing in the Christian community, regarding new archeological discoveries in Israel through a Biblical perspective

November 2013 – Leading a series of 18 lectures in the U.S.A for IMOT, focusing in new archeological discoveries in Israel, and presentations to tour agents from all around the United States.

March 2014 – lecturing as the keynote speaker at the Israeli breakfast at N.R.B (Nashville Tennessee) upon the “Truth of the Bible thru Archeology”

June 2014 – lecturing as the keynote speaker at the Israeli breakfast in the “Southern Baptist Annual Convention” in Baltimore – “Affirming the Bible thru Archeology”. After that, I have conducted a series of 22 lectures throughout the United States and Canada for IMOT, focusing in the Christian community, regarding new archeological discoveries in Israel through a Biblical perspective.

November 2014 – lecturing in an International conference of U.N.W.T.O and U.N.E.S.C.O focusing on Heritage and Religious tourism. The conference took place in the city of Elche – Spain.

February 2015 – keynote speaker at the N.R.B. the Christian annual convention in Nashville Tennessee.

May 2015 – Hosting and leading the U.N.W.T.O. annual conference tours in Haifa and Akko.

June 2015 – Leading a series of five full day Seminars for Christian leaders and Clergies across the U.K. and Scotland.

February 2016 – lecturing as the keynote speaker at the Israeli breakfast at N.R.B (Nashville Tennessee) – “New Findings in Jerusalem Biblical Archeology”.

October 2016 – U.N.W.T.O Conference for Religious and Heritage tourism in Utrecht -Netherlands – Mediator of the central Panel.

November 2016 – Kiev, Ukraine – Lecturing on behalf of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the main Event, Celebrating 25 years of diplomatic relations between Israel and Ukraine.
