Shalom and welcome to Israel!

It will be my pleasure to guide you and present you the Land and state of Israel. Here is the schedule Santiago and I set:


April 7 (SAT)

 9:30 We meet and greet at the King David Hotel, and then walk into the old city for a full day tour. We start with a  Ramparts Walk  from Jaffa Gate  and above the Armenian Quarter  and the Jewish Quarter  to the Dung gate, and then visit the famed Western wall  

We continue into the Muslim Quarter  and have lunch at the Austrian Hospice  (no res. needed).

We then walk along the “Stations of the Cross” (Via Dolorosa ) to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre  .

We then return to the car and drive up to Mount of Olives Viewpoint  , and visit the Garden of Gethsemane .

19:30: Dinner – at Eucalyptus  (res.)

April 8 (SUN)

Our second day in Jerusalem will begin  (9:30) with a visit to the national monument of the Holocaust – “Yad Vashem”  . IF time and will permits we also visit Anna Carmi studio.

We later continue to the unique Ethiopian Jewelry School (YVEL)   (11:30 res.), and for lunch we try Naji   Kabab house in Abu-Gosh (no res. needed). At 14:00 we have an appointment with the artist Anna Carmi, and later we go for a stroll in Mahane Yehudah Market  , and at 18:45 we have a nice dinner  Mahaneyudah restaurant  (res.).

April 9 (MON)

This morning is devoted to the earliest remains of Jeruaslem. At 9:30 start a VIP tour (res.) of the City of David  , which will cover possible remains of King David’s Palace Area G  Warren’s shaft  ,  a walk along Canaanite Tunnel  OR Hezekiah’s Tunnel  ; the Pool of Siloam  Herodian Drainage Channel Southern Wall Archaeological Park  , and Davidson Center 

We then return to the old city and can possibly go for a Hummus Lunch break in the Muslim Quarter  (Abu Shukri Hummus Lina , or Hummus Arafat). After lunch we can do some “Shopping therapy” at  Bilal Fabric Store  in the Christian Quarter  and in the local Bazaar (Suq ).

At 16:20 we will return to the Western Wall to join a public tour of the Western Wall tunnels  . (res.)

After tour, if we wish, we can also review an Armenian Pottery Workshop   in the Armenian Quarter  ; Judaica shopping in the Cardo  in the Jewish Quarter  ; or more shopping in Mamilla Pedestrian Mall 

18:30: Dinner  – at 1868  (res.)

April 10 (TUE)

Our day of exploring the area of the Dead Sea will start VERY early, to make it to the top of  Masada   at Sunrise!.  We will check out of the hotel at 3:30, and Fredi will drive you to the Western side of Masada, where you will climb up to the top by foot to witness the sunrise.

Fredi will then guide you through the site, and at the end will take you down the cable car to the visitor Center where you will continue the tour with Danny.

We will continue for a swim experience at Herod’s hotel Dead Sea  (res.), where we will also have lunch, and later we can have a Optional visit at Ein-Gedi Botanical Gardens  at Kibbutz Ein-Gedi.

At 16:00 we are set to do a tour of Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu bee farm (Bio-Tour Sde-Eliyahu ) (res.).

Upon reaching Tiberias we check in, and at 19:00 we have dinner at Deck’s  . (res.)

April 11 (WED)

At 9:30 we check out and head up to Mt. Bental , for a great panorama, and also a good view towards Damascus. Nearby we can visit De Karina Chocolatiere  , and at 13:30 lunch at Shiri Bistro  (res.).

After lunch we drive through Rosh Pina , and visit Safed / Tsfat  , and then head to Akko. After check in, we have at 19:00 Dinner, with Uri Buri   chef, in the hotel (but not in the restaurant itself, because of the holiday..)(res.)

April 12 (THUR)

Reaching the NW corner of Israel we use the cable car to explore the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes  . We then return to Akko  , where we explore the Hospitallers Citadel / “The Knights Halls”  + Templars Tunnel .

At 13:30 we have Lunch at  Sinta Bar , Haifa (res.), and later we view the Bahaian Terraced Gardens  In Haifa , and then drive to Roman era Metropolis Caesarea  . In the evening we reach Tel-Aviv, and check in.

Dinner can be at the Hotel, or nearby at excellent Mashya  .( 19:00, res.)

April 13 (FRI)

Having a morning to relax, at 12:30 we go to Independence Hall  , and later we visit Ronen Chen fashion store and Delta underwear shop in Dizingoff center, We continue to historical and trendy Neve Tzedek  including Ayala Bar Jewelry (Shabazi st. 36), and later stroll along Nahalat Binyamin Arts and Crafts Fair  .

At 18:00 we have a reserved dinner at Kitchen Market  (res.)

April 14 (SAT)

Our morning begins (9:30) with a visit to historical Jaffa , including some pastry at Aboulafia bakery,  and at 13:00 we have a lunch reservation at Tsfon Abraxas  (res.). We can later continue to “Hatachana” – Jaffa Railway Station , or historical center Sarona  

At 19:00 you have a dinner at Taizu  (res.)

April 15 (SUN)

At 9:00 we leave to make it to the  9:30 Tour of Palmach Museum  (res.)

We then drive out of Tel-Aviv, and at 12:00 we join the tour of the Secret Bullet Factory (“Machon Ayalon”)  (res.). Lunch will be at Nes Ziona High-tech center (several options), and followed by an experience of participating in an archaeological dig at “Dig for a Day”  (14:30).

Peniding on time and will we can also visit Beit Guvrin ; the Battle site of David and Goliath ; and \ or  David Gerstein Studio .

We end the day returning to Tel-Aviv, saying FAREWELL!! 🙂
