Blaine group Tour Plan, December 2019

Dec 14 (SAT)

Arrival – Welcome to Israel!.

Pending on time of arrival we plan to have a tour of Jaffa , drive along Tel-Aviv, and visit Caesarea if time permits, on our way to the Galilee.

Dec 15 (SUN)

Our first first full day of touring the Holy Land will be devoted to the main Holy Christian sites around the Sea of Galilee. Main attractions will be Mount of BeatitudesHazorCaesarea PhilipiBethsaida, and Capernaum.

If time permits we will also drive along part of the Golan Heights.

Dec 16 (MON)

Our day will start with a Sail on the Sea of Galilee to the Sea of Galilee Boat. We will then continue to visit MagdalaCana, and Nazareth‘s main destinations for Christians.

Dec 17 (TUE)

Checking out heading towards Jerusalem we will make a stop on the way at the Jordan river for baptism ceremony (Yardenit), and visit the impressive remains of ancient Beit Shean, We will have a general view of Jericho, and upon reaching Jerusalem we will greet it from Mount of Olives Viewpoint.

Dec 18 (WED)

A full day tour of the Old city of Jerusalem will include highlights like: Jaffa GateChurch of the Holy Sepulchre, the “Stations of the Cross” (Via Dolorosa), the Suq, the Christian Quarter, the Muslim Quarter , the Jewish Quarter, and the Western wall.

Dec 19 (THUR)

Our second day of exploring Jerusalem will focus on reviewing its oldest remains at the City of David. Later we will drive along the “Capitol hill” of Western Jerusalem, aprreciate the Mahane Yehudah Market  and review the main highlights of the Israel Museum.

Dec 20 (FRI)

In the morning we will visit remains of Herod’s fortress and burial site at Herodium. Later we will continue in Bethlehem and visit its main attractions – the Church of Nativity and the Shepherds’ Field. If time permits on the way back we could visit Rachel’s Tomb.

Dec 21 (SAT)

The last day of the tour will be devoted to exploring the region of the Dead Sea. We will visit Masada and the see the caves where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were found, and of course have a swimming option at the Dead Sea.
