Efrat was born and raised in the north of Israel, and so she grew up surrounded by the biblical stories and with the love for the land of Israel.
Efrat served in the cultural and educational corps in the IDF for 3 years rising to the rank of lieutenant.
After her army service Efrat studied biology and ecology at Ben Gurion University in the Negev, which gave her a unique knowledge of the flora and fauna of Israel.
Later Efrat started working with Israeli youth movements, becoming an educational guide for all different types of youth movements both Israeli and foreign, and so eventually she qualified as a registered tour guide, in 1998.
Efrat loves guiding from the north to the south, and especially nature trails and water hikes, and has a special passion also for Jerusalem and the desert.
