IMPH tour to Jaffa and Tel-Aviv, 28.11.14

On November 28th the IMPH class is invited to join me in a tour of Jaffa and Tel-Aviv.

We start the day at Rothschild Boulevard , the  historical avenue from the time of the foundation of Tel-Aviv . We introcude the early history of Tel-Aviv at the Shalom Meir Tower Visitors Center  , and at 10:00 we join the tour at the “Independence hall”  , the significant site where in 1948 the state of Israel was declared.

We then see the city getting ready for Sabbath at the Carmel Market  and nearby we appreciate the Nahalat Binyamin Crafts market  .

If the wether will permit, we will then head to the beach for some swimming (bring bathing suites!).

At the end of the day, on the way back, we will visit Rabin Assasination site .
