Bilal Abu Khalaf is a third generation fabric merchant that sells hand-woven silks, cotton, and gold threaded textiles in the local Bazaar (Suq ) of the old city of Jerusalem.
His shop happens also to be located right on top of a Crusaders era church. Parts of the church were exposed in the 1990’s and are visible to this day beneath the shops’ glass floor.
Bilal Fabric Shop is in the heart of the Christian Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem. Contact me to get a proposal of a full day tour of Jerusalem that will also include a visit to Bilal Fabric Shop.
