kibbutz Tirat-Zvi

The food is good, but it is not the main reason to eat in Tirat-zvi. This religious kibbutz is a “nature reserve” for a kibbutz “feeling”, including its kitchen. Enter the main dinning hall, and sit among the blue collared farmers coming from the fields, or the workers from the meat factory. Nice and pleasant people who will be happy to chat with you over local famous chicken soup, phyllo wrapped  hotdog, and other local delights.

Oh, and it is also the kibbutz where I lived from babyhood to 18..

Kibbutz Tirat-zvi, end of road 6678 in the Jordan Valley, at the dinning room.
