Aug 13 (TUE)

17:10 – Delta 468: Arrival, WELCOME TO ISRAEL!. 

Upon arrival you will meet the driver of a minibus transfer, and get to Jerusalem, check-in, and relax, wash up, and go for a light dinner in the area.

Aug 14 (WED)

yad vashem tourAt 10:15  you are set for a visit the National institution for the memory and study of the Holocaust –  “Yad Vashem”  .  The visit will include also a “twining” ceremony. 

13:00 – Lunch at Carma, Ein Karem

At 15:00 you will meet the guide (“Danny the Digger”) and have an afternon tour of the old city.

19:00 – Dinner at “Adom”.

Aug 15 (THUR) 

dig for a dayToday we head today outside the city and at 9:30 we join a uniqe “Dig for a Day”  activity.

After lunch in the area we continue to a Planting a tree ,  experince at 15:00, and later explore the are related to the Battle site of David and Goliath , and sections of the 1948 “Burma Road”  .

19:00 – Dinner at “Chakra”

Aug 16 (FRI)

city of DavidOn Friday we zoon on the old city and start “Where it all began” – the  City of David  . We will review possible remains of David’s palace, and go through under ground tunnels Biblical times.

Later we will continue through a first century drainage tunnel to the Southern Wall Archaeological Park  , and after lunch explore the Jewish Quarter .

If time and will permits we could also go drive to the Mahane Yehudah Market    and along Mea Shearim  before Shabbath.

Dinner – Food from the Market, or at Foccacia bar (***)

Aug 17 (SAT)

Bar Mitzvah Azrat IsraelIn the morning we will have a Bar-Mitzvah ceremony at Goldman Promenade, and after branch at Brasserie, we will check out and Drive to Ein Gedi , where you will also be able to go for a Swim at the Dead Sea .

Aug 18 (SUN)

tour to masada

An early start will get us to Masada   before the crowds and the heat, and we will then drive to the Ramon Crater  , where we will visit the Ramon Crater Visitors Center .

At 16:00 we will have a 2.5 hours Jeep tour of the Ramon Crater (by “Deep Desert Israel”) and at 21:00 we will join a Stars Watching Session in Machtesh Ramon .

Aug 19 (MON)

Camel ride sea levelIn the morning we will have 1 hour camel ride by the Ramon Crater   in a Bedouin camp (“Ben Midbar”) next to the northern ridge of the crater.

We then have a 3.5 hours drive to get to Akko   and explore the medieval capital of the Crusaders. We will then continue to the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes   and use the cable car to exlpore the natural caves.

Aug 20 (TUE)

safed Karo Synagogue

In the morning we will ascend to the Carmel for a panoramic view of the Bahaian Terraced Gardens  as well as Akko bay, and then head to  Safed / Tsfat   to have a better understanding of Jewish “Kaballah”.

After lunch we will descend to the Jordan river and at 15:00 we will Kayak  for 1.5 hours in the Jordan river rapids.

Aug 21 (WED)

ATV Jordan riverWaking up in a kibbutz in the Golan Heights , we will ascend to the top of Mt. Bental   for a view into Syria, and then embark on an 1.5 hours  ATV tour in the Golan Heights  (9:30).

At 12:00 we will visit Kibbutz El-Rom and watch a presentation of the “Valley of Tears” battle that took place near the Kibbutz (OZ 77 movie  ).

After lunch we will end the day with a visit to  Kol Shofar  Shofar workshop (15:00).

Aug 22 (THUR)

caesarea tourHeading to Tel-Aviv for the last few days, we will make a stop at Beth Shearim  to crawl into ancient Jewish Catacombs, and at Caesarea   learn about this region in Roman time. In the afternoon we will reach Tel-Aviv and if time and will permits, we could have a quick visit to Jaffa

Aug 23 (FRI)

palmach museumAt 8:30 you will meet your guide for today (Pini Refael). Your first activity will be 9:30 Palmach Museum , followed by a F16 flight simulator experience (“The Squadron” ) (***).

On the scond half of the day you can experience tha local markets of Tel-Aviv: the Flea Market  , and the Carmel Market  , and the Friday afternoon Nahalat Binyamin Arts and Crafts Fair  .

Aug 24 (SAT)

tel aviv tourSaturday can be used for a swim at the Mediterranean Sea or stroll on Rothschild Boulevard  with your friends.
