Feb 13 (THUR)

Upon arrival you will take a taxi to reach Tel-Aviv, check in, and settle for the night.

Feb 14 (FRI) 

jaffa private tourOur first day of touring will be devoted to exploring Jaffa and Tel-Aviv. We will start at ancient Jaffa , and move on the the Flea Market  . Later we will continue to the Independence Hall  on Rothschild Boulevard , and stroll along the Carmel Market   and Nahalat Binyamin Arts and Crafts Fair  .

Feb 15 (SAT) 

tel aviv tour rothschild boulevardToday is a free day that can be used for self exploring of Tel-Aviv, or just relax by the beach. 

If you want, we can also set a tour to the “Shfelah“, visiting sites relating to Samson and the battle of David and Goliath, and also visit the “Secret Bullet Factory (“Machon Ayalon”) ” (***) and/ or having a Powered Parachute Flight   above the Sharon (***).

Feb 16 (SUN) 

westen wallChecking out of Tel-Aviv, possibly drive along parts of the 1948 war ““Burma Road”  “, and upon reaching Jerusalem, check in, and then go on a tour of the Old City  , with an emphasis on the Herodian Quarter visiting sites like the Western wall  , the Burnt House , the Cardo , the Hurvah Synagogue , and the old city market (the Suq ).

Feb 17 (MON) 

Bar Mitzvah Azrat IsraelToday is Bar-Mitzvah day!. At 9:00 you will conduct the Bar-Mitzvah ceremony (***), and later have a branch.

You can then visit the high lights of the Israel Museum   , or review The National holocaust institution – “Yad Vashem  ” (With a possible “twining” ceremony) (***).

Feb 18 (TUE) 

dead sea scrollsHeading east of Jerusalem and down to the area of the Dead Sea, we review the site where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered (Qumran  ), as well as the Nature reserve at Ein Gedi .

Upon reaching Masada  , we take the Cable car up to the top, to review its fantastic remains  – trajic story. We end at one of the Hotels area for a lunch + spa + swim experience at the Dead Sea

Feb 19 (WED)

caesarea ampitheatreHeading north for a few days, we explore the famous ruins of ancient Caesarea  , former Roman metropolis, and Rabbinical center, where we can also have a nice lunch.

beth shearim catacombsNext we head to the ancient catacombs of Beth Shearim , a significant Jewish cemetery in ancient times. After lunch we continue to the Sea of Galilee, and visit the site of the significant discovery of of a 2000 year old synagogue at Magdala , before checking into our hotel.

Feb 20 (THUR)

golan heights tourClimbing to the Top of the Golan Heights, we view into Syria from Mt. Bental  , and join an ATV  tour around the Syrian border.

We then continue to a Chocolataire workshop at “De Karina Chocolatiere “, and after lunch visit the local visitors center of the Golan heights – “Golan Magic” Visitors Center . If time and will permits we will also visit the impressive remains of the ancient synagogue at Capernaum  .

Feb 21 (FRI)

Rosh Hanikrah grottoesOn our last day we will drive to the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes   and descend by cable car into caves dug into white cliffs right by the border with Lebanon.

We continue to Akko  , and learn about its major role in Crusaders times. We could also have a fast speed boat ride against the walls of the city, and a nice lunch in on the city’s walls.

In the afternoon we will start heading to the airport for departure (23:55).
