Miet Meesters Tour Plan, July 2019

June 30 (SUN)

Caesarea Private TourArrival – Welcome to Israel!.

Upon arival you will meet your guide and head north. Pending on time and will you could have a tour of ancient Metropolis of Caesarea, and its main highlights, such as the Port, the Hippo-Stadium, the Bathouse, Herods Palace, and the Theatre.

July 1 (MON)

akko tourWaking up in Haifa you will use the oppurtunity to view Haifa bay from the top of the Bahaian Terraced Gardens. We then continue to mediavel capitol of the Crusaders  – Akko / Acre. You will review its main finds, including the Hospitallers Citadel / “The Knights Halls” and the adjacant streets, and continue through the  Templars Tunnel to the city’s ancient port.

At the end of the day you will head to Tiberias, by the Sea of Galilee.

July 2 (TUE)

ATV Jordan river Ascending up the Golan Heights, You will make one stop for a panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee at the Mount of Beatitudes. You then continue to the top of Mt. Bental, to view also into Syria.

After a lunch break continue you will join an ATV tour in the Golan Heights by the Syrian border and/or visit a local winery. If time and will permits on the way back you could also visit “the Town of Jesus” – Capernaum.

July 3 (WED)

nazareth church of annunciationHeading to Tel-Aviv, you will make two significant stops, one at Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine, and at Nazareth, where you could visit the “Church of Annunciation“, the nearby S. Joseph Church, and the “Synagogue church“.

If time and will permits you can also have a visit the remains of Megiddo/”Armageddon” on the way to Tel-Aviv.

July 4 (THUR)

Independence hall israel Your Tel-Avivian experience will start with a visit to the Independence Hall on Rothschild Boulevard, and the Shalom Meir Tower Visitors Center .

You will then continue to Jaffa for a stroll among its historical sites and art galleries.

After lunch the guide will have to run to a family event. You can choose an option of self exploring the Flea Market and the Carmel Market; setting a Segway tour; a grafitti tour; a Cooking Workshop or simple take sometime off and relax in the hotel.

July 5 (FRI)

christian tour jerusalemToday you are finally heading to Jerusalem!. Along the way you could visit sites like the Beth Shemesh, or Emmaus-Nicopolis.

Upon reaching Jerusalem you will elbow your way in the colorfull “Mahane Yehudah Market “, where you will also have lunch, and later drive along the ultra orthodox neighborhood of Mea Shearim to the Mount of Olives Viewpoint, where you will greet Jerusalem “Shabbath Shalom”.

July 6 (SAT)

church of nativity bethlehemShabbath will be devoted to mostly Holy Christian sites in Jerusalem and Bethlehem. You will first head into the Christian Quarter of Jerusalem to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre  and walk parts of the “Via Dolorosa” and the Pools of Bethesda, combined with the market of the old city (the Suq“).

After a lunch break you will head into Bethlehem in the Palestinian governed area, to visit the “Church of Annunciation” and the Shepherds’ Fields.

July 7 (SUN)

tour to the tmeple mountSunday early morning you will visit of Temple Mount which open only for a few hours, and continue into the Jewish Quarter, visit the Western wall , the Cardo, and and sites on Mount Zion: Site of the last supper (“Cenacle“), King David’s Tomb Mark on Mount Zion and More.

After a lunch break you will continue to the National monumnet and institution of the Haolocaust – “Yad Vashem“.

July 8 (MON)

tour to masadaA day tour of the region of the Dead Sea will start with a view to the caves where the fmaous Dead Sea Scrolls were found (Qumran), and passing by the oasis of Ein-Gedi, you will reach Masada, famous for its dramatic finds and tragic history. For lunch you will go to one of the hotels at the Dead Sea where you will also have an oppurtunity to go for a swim at the Dead Sea. You will then continue to the Eilat by the Red Sea for the night.

July 9 (TUE)

petra tour Setting your passports, in the morning you will cross the border into Jordan for an intense day of touring the Famed Nabatean capital of Petra, and a Jeep Tour or an ATV tour in Wadi Rum.

July 10 (WED)

Ramon crater visitors centerThe morning can be used for some snorkeling or Scuba Diving at the Red Sea. Later ww head to Tel-Aviv, driving through the Ramon Crater, and possibly visiting the Ramon Crater Visitors Center as well as  Ben Gurion’s Tomb and Hut on the way.

July 11 (THUR)

flight to israelThe last day in Tel-Aviv can be used for some souveninr shopping, or swim at the Mediterranean before heading to the Airport for departure. Farewell!
