Moss Family tour plan, July 2019

July 2 (TUE)

 Arrival, WELCOME TO ISRAEL!.

We first head up north for two nights. If time permits we will visit the highlights of Caesarea   on the way.

July 3 (WED)

After a relaxing breakfast we head to the top of the Golan Heights at Mt. Bental  , have an ATV tour along the Syrian Border , possibly visit a local winery, and visit ancient Capernaum .

July 4 (THUR)

Checking out, we visit significant sites in the Galilee like Nazareth  , Sepphoris / Zippori , and the ancient Jewish Catacombs of Beth Shearim , before heading to Jeruslaem (!).

July 5 (FRI)

 Our full day tour of Jerusalem will focus on the highlights of the Old City  , including The Christian Quarter , the Jewish Quarter , the Western wall  , and possibly a hike along Hezekiah’s Tunnel   in the City of David  .

July 6 (SAT)

Saturday morning could be used for reviewing the old city from Mount of Olives Viewpoint , and then exploring the Shfelah, at sites like Battle site of David and Goliath , and the famous 1948 ““Burma Road”  “.

July 7 (SUN)

Hoping to skip the heat and the crowds, and early start will take to the famous fortress of Masada  .

We will later go for a swim at the Dead Sea , and review the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls – Qumran  .

July 8 (MON)

On our last day in Jerusalem, in the morning we will review the highlights of the Israel Museum   , and possibly also the Holocaust National memorial institute (““Yad Vashem”  “).

For lunch we will go the Mahane Yehudah Market   , and later drive along the Ultra Orthodox are of Mea Shearim , and then head to Tel-Aviv.

July 9  (TUE)

Our last tour day will be devoted to exploring Jaffa and Tel-Aviv, with highlights like the Flea Market  , Independence Hall , Rothschild Boulevard , and more..
