March 11 (MON)

Arrival (when?)

Welcome to Israel!.

Upon your arrvial you will set a transfer to Tel-Aviv, to settle in the Hotel, stroll in it’s area, and have a nice dinner.

March 12  (TUE)

Your first dat in Israel will be devoted to discover Jaffa andTel-Aviv.  Main sites will include Jaffa , the Flea Market  Independence Hall  on Rothschild Boulevard Rabin Assassination site , and an optional visit to Rabin Center Palmach Museum , and the Samaritan Holon Community .

March 13 (WED)

Checking out, we had up north for two days. On the way we stop at Caesarea   to appreciate some of its highlights, namely the Caesarea aqueductCaesarea Port, Paul’s Prison in Caesarea?, Herods Palace in Caesarea, and Caesarea’s Theatre.

Later we pass by Megiddo  and reach Nazareth   where we visit the Church of Annunciation , and at neaby Cana  we visit the “Wedding Church”.

March 14 (THUR)

The Morning will be devoted to exploring the Golan Heights . We will visit Caesarea Philippi (Banias)  and possibly do also the Banias hike and water fall 

We will then ascend to see/ visit Nimrod Fortress , and driving through Druze , we will reach Mt. Bental  , where we can also have lunch / wine tasting. 

We then pass by Medieval Chastellet  and Rosh Pina  to visit former Jewish Kabbalah center at Safed / Tsfat  .

March 15 (FRI)

Our last day in the north will be devoted to mostly Holy Christian sites around the Sea of Galilee, namely: Mount of Beatitudes Capernaum Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes , Church of the Primacy of Peter Sea of Galilee Boat , and Magdala .

We then head to Jerusalem for the week-end.

March 16 (SAT)

Shabbath will be devoted to an early morning visit to the Church of Nativity   in Bethlehem , and later a drive to the area of the Dead Sea, to visit Masada  , site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found (Qumran  ), and of course – a swim at Dead Sea

March 17 (SUN)

Our morning will start with a visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre  , and its main sites, namely the Golgotha ; the Stone of Unction ; the Tomb of Jesus ; the Tomb of Joseph of Arimathea ; and the Chapel of the finding of the Cross .

We will than continue in the Christian Quarter  alond the “Stations of the Cross” (Via Dolorosa ), and into the Jewish Quarter  where will visit the Western wall  , and other attractions. 

  • The Bates might want to go to Services at the Mormon University.

March 18 (MON)

The Last day of the tour will start with a review of the highlights of the Israel Museum   :  The “Shrine of the Book” Model of the Second Temple Jewish Art and Life Wing ;  Archaeological Wing ; and possibly also the Art Wing 

For lunch we will go to the Mahane Yehudah Market   , and end the day with a visit to the National memorial for the victim’s of the Holocaust – “Yad Vashem”  .
