Stalactite cave

sorek stalactite caveThe Stalactite cave, known also as “Soreq cave” or Avshalom cave” was found by chance in 1968 by workers when blasting at a nearby quarry. Just 82 by 60 meter, yet the one of the richest in the world in stalactites and stalgmites.

Maintained by the Nature Parks Authority of Israel, the cave can be visited only with local guidance, and with no photographing restrictions.
