The British cemetery built on Mount Scopus was the 17th and last of British cemeteries created in the Land of Israel after World War I.
Formed in a great Cross shape overlooking the old city, the cemetery holds 2515 of the total 12,197 causalties of the U.K. during Wolrd War I and the British Mandate period in Israel.
