Three Sacred Regions
This private three-day journey explores the most sacred and inspiring places in Israel, weaving together history, faith, and breathtaking landscapes. From the holy sites of Jerusalem to the wilderness of the Dead Sea and the rolling hills of the Galilee, the tour offers a meaningful and unforgettable experience. Your guide will enrich each moment with stories from scripture, archaeological discoveries, and cultural insights, ensuring a journey that engages both heart and mind.
Your Jerusalem adventure will begin at Mount Zion, where you will visit the Room of the Last Supper, a place associated with the gathering of Jesus and his disciple. Continue into the Jewish Quarter, where winding lanes lead you to the Western Wall, the last remnant of the Temple and the holiest site in Judaism.
Next, walk along the Via Dolorosa, retracing the path of Jesus’ passion, leading to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, venerated as the site of crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. Later, visit the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed before his arrest, and conclude at the Mount of Olives, where sweeping views of the Old City open before you.
Travel east into the Judean Desert, where the stark landscapes contrast with hidden oases. Stop at a viewpoint overlooking the caves of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, shedding light on ancient Jewish life. Continue through Ein Gedi, the desert oasis where David sought refuge from King Saul, with refreshing springs and lush vegetation in the heart of the wilderness.
The journey continues to Masada, King Herod’s famous mountain fortress overlooking the desert. Ascend by cable car to explore its palaces, storerooms, and fortifications, while hearing the dramatic story of the Jewish rebels who made their last stand here against Rome. Finally, descend to the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Experience the unique sensation of floating effortlessly in its dense, mineral-rich waters, and enjoy its famous healing mud.
Travel north to the Galilee, beginning in Nazareth, where the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary the coming birth of Jesus. Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and continue to Cana, traditionally associated with Jesus’ first miracle of turning water into wine.
Enjoy also a fish lunch by the lakeshore, followed by an optional sail on the Sea of Galilee, offering a moving way to connect with the setting of the Gospel stories. This final moment on the Galilee brings the journey to a peaceful close, blending history, faith, and the beauty of the land into lasting memory.
