Spirit, History, and Living Heritage
Jerusalem is a site like no other. Sacred to Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike, it is a city where faith and history intertwine with daily life. This three-day private tour offers an immersive journey through the city’s most meaningful sites, blending ancient history, biblical traditions, and modern Israeli life. From the alleyways of the Old City to the panoramic views of the Mount of Olives and the treasures of the Israel Museum, you will experience Jerusalem as both a holy city and a living, breathing capital.
The day begins on Mount Zion with a visit to the Room of the Last Supper, where tradition recalls Jesus sharing his final meal with the disciples. Just below lies the Mark of King David’s Tomb, a site long revered in Jewish tradition.
The afternoon follows the path of the Via Dolorosa, retracing Jesus’ steps toward Golgotha, culminating at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This church, possibly the holiest site in Christianity, encompasses both Calvary and the tomb of the Resurrection.
Start the day on the Mount of Olives, a hill offering breathtaking views of the Old City. You will visit the Chapel of the Ascension, the Pater Noster Church, with its walls adorned by the Lord’s Prayer in many languages. Next, descend into the Garden of Gethsemane, where ancient olive trees recall the night of Jesus’ prayer and arrest.
Crossing the Kidron Valley, the tour continues to the City of David, the oldest part of Jerusalem. You will explore the remains of what some identify as King David’s palace, walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel, a 2,700-year-old water channel, and reach the recently rediscovered Pool of Siloam, where pilgrims once purified themselves before ascending to the Temple.
The day begins with a visit to the Temple Mount, one of the most sensitive and significant religious sites in the world. Once the location of the Jewish Temple, it is now home to the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, standing as a focal point for faith and history.
The final stop is Yad Vashem, Israel’s official Holocaust memorial, a place of remembrance and education that honors the victims and stories of survival during World War II. The site provides a powerful conclusion to your journey, reminding us of the Jewish turbulent past, memory, and the pursuit of peace.
