Day 1 – From Coastal Beginnings to Galilee Charms

Visit Independence Hall, where David Ben-Gurion proclaimed the birth of the State of Israel in 1948, and drive through the boulevard, appreciating its unique urban charm. Next, head north to Caesarea, once a grand Roman port and home to a significant Jewish community, and track find related to its Rabbinical past. Continue to the Atlit Detention Camp, which recalls the struggle of Jewish immigrants detained by the British before independence.
