Comfort, Heritage, Discovery
This 4-day private tour is carefully designed for seniors and travelers with limited mobility, offering a gentle pace without sacrificing depth or meaning. Each day highlights Israel’s most inspiring sites, from ancient ports and biblical towns to Jerusalem’s timeless streets and the wonders of the Dead Sea. To make the journey even more comfortable, we can also arrange a folding wheelchair, and in Jerusalem’s Old City, it is also possible to rent a golf cart. Every experience is tailored for accessibility, combining thoughtful planning, expert guiding, and opportunities for reflection and enjoyment at each stop.
Start the day in Jaffa, one of the oldest ports in the world, where biblical stories and modern art galleries fill its winding alleys. Nearby, stroll through the Flea Market, where colorful stalls display antiques, spices, and textiles. Continue along Rothschild Boulevard, where modern Tel Aviv was founded, and pause at the Rabin Assassination Site, a memorial to the late Prime Minister dedicated to peace.
Next, travel north to explore Caesarea, the great port city built by King Herod, where wide pathways and shaded areas make visits easier for seniors. From there, continue across the Plains of Armageddon, a region rich in biblical prophecy and history. Visit Nazareth, where the Annunciation is remembered, and nearby Cana, known for the miracle of water into wine. The day concludes with a relaxed arrival in Tiberias, a lakeside town along the Sea of Galilee.
Begin at Capernaum, the “Town of Jesus,” where the remains of a synagogue and ancient homes are easily accessible to visitors. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, overlooking the Sea of Galilee, where shaded gardens allow for comfortable reflection on the Sermon on the Mount. Next, visit the exhibit of the Sea of Galilee Boat, a 2,000-year-old fishing vessel that brings Gospel times vividly to life. End the day in Magdala, the hometown of Mary Magdalene, where an impressive synagogue from the Second Temple period was uncovered. This day is paced with short drives and gentle walks, ensuring a relaxed yet deeply meaningful experience.
Start at the Mount of Olives, with its panoramic views of Jerusalem, where transport can bring guests directly to the outlook points. Descend to the Garden of Gethsemane, where ancient olive trees and a small church create a place of quiet reflection. Crossing the Kidron Valley, enter the Jewish Quarter, designed with accessible routes, to visit synagogues, plazas, and shops. Stop at the Western Wall, where all visitors may comfortably approach this revered place of prayer.
After a lunch break, explore sections of the Via Dolorosa, adjusted to mobility needs, and reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, central to Christian tradition. In the afternoon, visit the Israel Museum, where highlights such as the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Model of Jerusalem are accessible to all. In the evening, you might opt to attend the Tower of David Night Show, an enchanting sound-and-light presentation that brings Jerusalem’s history to life in a seated open-air setting.
Travel into the Judean desert to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, with paths designed for easy access. Continue with a drive through Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, where David hid from Saul, and now wildlife and desert plants flourish. Next, ascend Masada comfortably by cable car, to explore Herod’s fortress and learn about the Jewish defenders’ last stand. The Masada Museum further enriches the experience with artifacts that tell the story without strenuous walking.
