“Valley of Tears” is a name given to an area of in the Golan Heights where a major battle took place in 1973 between the Israelis and the Syrians. The site, close to the border with Syria, presents a memorial for the fallen soldiers, as well as two British-Israeli “Shot cal” Tanks, and a Russian-Syrian T-55. Near the site, at Kibbutz El-Rom, one can see a movie about the battle (OZ 77 movie ).
