Presenting the Possible Site of Jesus’ Trial on “The Watchman” Show
The New Testament records the trial of Jesus to take place at Jerusalem’s “Praetorium” (cf. Mark 15:6). The traditional site of the trial is the Antonia Fortress, North of the Temple Mount.
However, the exact location remains a subject of scholarly discussion and interpretation, and alternative theories suggest other potential sites within the vicinity of Jerusalem, such as the Herod’s Palace. In this show, the archaeological evidence of Herod’s Palace are presented and the subject of Jesus’ trial site is debated.
