“Bauhuas” was an art and architecture school in Germany operating during the years 1919-1933. It was famous for developing the “International style”, known for absence of ornamentation and harmony between the function of the building and its design.
More then 4000 building in Tel-Aviv were built in the 1930’s in that style, and being so, in 2003 UNESCO recognised Tel-Aviv as a “World Cultural Heritage site”. In 2008 a Bauhaus Desgin Museum was also operned in Tel-Aviv.
