The Carmel Market (Hebrew: “Shuk HaCarmel”) is the main outdoor vegetables market in Tel-Aviv. It was established in 1920 by Russian Jews who escaped the 1917 revolution. Today it sells a veriaty of items, and has a few trendy food stands and restaurants.
