Kidron Valley Tombs are a set of monumental tombs (“Tomb of Absalom” and “Hezir Family Tomb”) carved in the limestone rocks against the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
Though they bear no inscription with a date, they were probably created in the 1st century by wealthy families of Jewish priests.
In the 1960’s a British archaeologists suggested they contained treasrues mentioned in the “Copper Scroll” and excavated their vicinity.
