It was established on the turn of the 20th century on the side of Jaffa Road  , and today has more then 250 vendors, offering a wide range of products.

The market is also known for its Falafel and Shawarma stands, as well as ethnic food restautrant, and the trendy restaurants.

For small groups a Tastings Tour  or a Cooking workshop  can also be arranged.

Popular with locals and tourists alike, the market’s more than 250 vendors sell fresh fruits and vegetables; baked goods; fish, meat and cheeses; nuts, seeds, and spices; wines and liquors; clothing and shoes; and housewares, textiles, and Judaica.
