The Eshkol Water Filtration Plant, one of the biggest of its kind in the world, is an essential component of Israel’s national water carrier (המוביל הארצי). Located in the lower Galilee, the plant filters 1.7 million cubic meters of water daily using advanced technology. The site also offers guided tours through its innovative visitor center.  Interactive multimedia presentations introduce one of Israel’s most significant technological achievements – supplying its citizens with enough water for all personal, industrial, and agricultural needs. And it is achieved in a semi-arid country, half of it being wilderness.
