The Laura of Gerasimus is Byzantine period Hermits monastery which was founded by Gersimus in the 5th Century CE between the Jordan River and Jericho . Today, the remains of this laura are the best preserved of their kind, and are located in unique and beautiful site, near Deir Hajla monastery.
