Day 1 – Exploring Jaffa and Tel-Aviv

Stroll through the cobblestone streets of Old Jaffa and explore its architectural gems and rich history. Continue to the vibrant Flea Market, whose vintage shops and restaurants are ideal for a lunch break. Returning to the vehicle, your guide will now drive you to Rothschild Boulevard, the historical nucleus of Tel-Aviv. Appreciate the eclectic architecture and visit Independence Hall, where the state of Israel was declared in May 1948. Conclude the day at the Palmach Museum, a multi-sensory presentation of Israel’s pre-1948 Jewish fighting force. Alternatively, sign up for the high-end Israeli Airforce fighter jet simulator – The Squadron.

Day 2 – Caesarea and Nazareth

Heading north, visit the Roman-era metropolis of Caesarea Maritima, founded by King Herod over 2,000 years ago. Explore the city’s theatre, hippodrome, and Herod’s Palace, where the Apostle Paul was imprisoned (Acts 24).  For an adventurous twist, join a snorkeling session along the ancient harbor, tracing its ancient foundations, old anchors, and sunken ships. Traversing the Galilee, reach Nazareth, a city deeply intertwined with Jesus’ early life. Enjoy lunch in the local market and explore the Basilica of the Annunciation, commemorating the angel Gabriel’s announcement to Mary. Nearby, visit Cana, where Jesus performed the miracle of turning water into wine (John 2) as you make your way to Tiberias.

Day 3 – Adventures in the Golan Heights

Delve into the history of this contested region while exploring a former IDF bunker, accompanied by breathtaking panoramas. For an adventurous twist, opt for an off-road tour along the Syrian border, reaching former military posts and unique historical landmarks. Next, enjoy an authentic Druze lunch and hospitality experience, followed by visiting the 1973 Valley of Tears battle site.  Conclude the day with a delightful chocolate-making workshop session in a Kibbutz (De Karina). Day 4 – Around the Sea of Galilee

Nearby, at the Mount of Beatitudes, visit the remarkable church commemorating Jesus’ renowned Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5; Luke 6). Next, embark on a serene sail on the Sea of Galilee, soaking in the spiritual ambiance surrounding this lake, before heading to Jerusalem. For an airborne thrill, opt for a powered parachute flight along the way. This adrenaline-pumping adventure will take you on a low and slow journey above biblical terrain and captivating landscapes.

Day 5 – Jerusalem Unveiled

A tour of Jerusalem is a historical and spiritual enriching experience. Start with a visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which marks the sites of Jesus’ crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. Next, follow the Via Dolorosa, the historic route marking Jesus’ path to his crucifixion. Head on to the Western Wall, a remnant of the Second Temple, and possibly join a tour of the Western Wall Tunnels. After lunch explore the Jewish Quarter‘s historical monuments like the Hurvah synagogue and the Roman-era boulevard (the Cardo). Day 6 – City of David and Mea Shearim

Review archeological finds relating to David’s palace, and hike down to the Gihon Spring, Jerusalem’s water source in biblical times.  For an exhilarating experience walk through the dark and wet Hezekiah’s tunnel emerging at the Pool of Siloam. Extend your adventure by hiking up an ancient drainage channel to the Southern Wall Archeological Park. Review the park’s highlights and head on to the Mahane Yudah Market. This lively open-air market is a great place for a lunch savoring local flavors – and a stroll through its bustling alleys. End your day with a peek into the insular Mea Shearim neighborhood, where an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community continues to follow a medieval Ashkenazi lifestyle.

Day 7 – Masada and the Dead Sea

Reach Masada and enjoy its visitor center and the comfortable cable car ride to the top. Here, embark on an immersive archeological expedition, tracing King Herod’s grand palaces and the ingenious water system. After a lunch break, enjoy the unique sensation of floating in the hyper-saline waters of the Dead Sea. Proceed to the border crossing near Eilat and reach Wadi Rum, where you will enjoy a Bedouin feast. For the ultimate overnight experience spend the night in a Bedouin tent or the contemporary Martian bubble tents.

Day 8 – Off-Road in Wadi Rum and Petra

petraCommence the day early with a captivating off-road excursion through Wadi Rum‘s stunning sandstone landscapes before heading to legendary Petra. Upon arrival, walk through the famous Siq, a winding canyon leading to the iconic Treasury (Al Khazane) monument. You’ll also pass by the royal tombs and Petra’s theatre and finally reach the ancient city center.  After a leisurely lunch, return to the main entrance. Visit Petra’s new museum and enjoy some souvenir shopping before returning to Eilat.

Day 9 – Snorkel at the Red Sea

You’ll reach Eilat’s best coral reef section where you can discover the vibrant maritime life by snorkeling. You can also opt for an introductory scuba dive where your private instructor holds your hand through the whole dive. The sail will also combine snacks, drinks, and a delightful barbecue lunch. In the afternoon head to Ben-Gurion for your departure flight.
